How to Know If Email is Spear Phishing
Spear phishing is common this days and if you are not cautious, you might end up as their catch. Spear phishing is an identity theft that involves targeting an employee and scam their way to the companys system.
This type of credit hijack uses a method known as spear phishing, the deviant uses email and send it to employees to try and get certain information. This e-mail will be sent to employees asking to fill up personal information or will ask for an e-mail reply with the same info. This can either be at someone at work, so be careful who to trust and dont go on malicious websites and send your informations.
Do not download attachments unless you are sure of what it is. Do not enter personal information on websites whose security you are not certain of. These are ways you can avoid. When a commercial identity theft hacks the companys database to hack their way into a companys account, they will try to bait you. Identity protection
