The Apple Cinnamon Refrigerator Oatmeal has been the best so far. This one is really yummy. The only changes from the original recipe was that I used Chobani Apple Cinnamon Yogurt instead of plain and Splenda instead of Honey. It was very good!
Rather than purchasing the mason canning jars that are recommended at The Yummy Life; I found these in the same aisle at Wal-Mart:
They're plastic and run the same sizes as the mason jars - they're perfect!! So I bought 2 sizes!!
Tonight I created my own refrigerator oatmeal - PUMPKIN!! I love pumpkin and since it's a vegetable, I can get a serving of that in! I just took the Apple Cinnamon Recipe and used 1/4 cup canned pumpkin in place of the applesauce and vanilla greek yogurt in place of the apple/cinnamon kind. I'll give a review tomorrow on whether it was any good or not. (Also, I used splenda instead of honey).
Looking forward to lunch tomorrow with Polt - we have Mental Health training in the morning (4 hours worth - whew....) so we're going for a leisurely lunch afterwards! Don't know where yet, but weigh-in is tomorrow so I must be good!
